EASY 4 INGREDIENT SMOOTHIE RECIPE
One of my favourite breakfast recipes is this easy to make lactose-free smoothie. It only takes 3 minutes and 3 or 4 ingredients and you can start your day!
I used frozen fruit, but you can also add fresh fruits such as strawberries or a banana. The last one will keep your energie levels up for sure!
The reason why I don’t only use fresh food is that fresh fruit tends to foam a little when blended and the frozen fruit will make your smoothie instantly cold! Enjoy your breakfast!
Edit: No yoghurt? No problem! You can make this smoothie with only milk instead.
WHAT'S IN IT?
For the basic recipe I use
– Frozen mixed fruit
– Lactose-free yoghurt
– Tablespoon of honey
– Replace the almond milk with regular (lactose-free) milk
– Add fresh fruit e.g. a banana or strawberries
– Add lemon-juice for a fresher taste
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
Add about 100 grams of the frozen fruit to the food processor or blender together with about 100 ml of yoghurt and a tablespoon of honey. Then, mix it up.
Add the almond-milk, about 100 ml, and blend it. If the mixture is too thick to drink, add more almond-milk until it has the right thickness.
Pour the mixture into long drink glasses and enjoy your breakfast! You should have enough for about 2 tall glasses.
