My top 5 looks of 2017
January 8, 2018
Now that we're on our way in 2018, it's time to look back at 2017! This is the year I started my blog and I would love to show you the 5 best outfits I wore this year!
Starting my blog again after about 6 years of not blogging has reawakened my passion for fashion! I enjoy getting dressed in the morning again instead of just grabbing jeans and a sweater or a blouse and a sweater (my uniform during the time I was a board-member when I was off duty).
I feel like I take more risks in dressing again and some have turned out well, others, well, not so much! :p Let me show you the looks that I liked most and that you seemed to like too!
The one with the most comments I had all year, you seem to like this classy look and so do I!
The metallic pleated midi skirt is the perfect piece for both winter and summer and paired with a classy wool coat and turtleneck sweater, it’s my favourite outfit of the year!
If you would have told me a year ago that I would wear velvet to christmas, I would not have believed you. Yet, I did and I loved it!
I’m obsessed with this gorgeous colour and velvet styled in a classy way is the best pick for holiday season if you ask me.
I love suits and there is no way there isn’t going to be at least one suit in this list! I also love wide legged (or palazzo) pants, so this was the ideal outfit for me!
You can wear a suit like this with sneakers for a casual approach or with heels to dress it up and in both ways look stunning!
Two major trends of 2017 were the colour red and striped everything. Good thing is, red is one of my favourite colours to wear and almost everything in my closet has stripes!
These pants are amazing as they are also another favourite thing of mine: wide-legged! To top it off, I went out of my comfort zone in a long-sleeved crop-top and actually liked it!
Bold doesn’t have to be busy. This minimalist red suit was one of my favourites (did I mention I like suits?) this year.
It’s very much out there, but with minimalist styling, I think it rocks. A white t-shirt and white sneakers is enough to give any suit (boring or not) a cool lift!
