QUICK & EASY 4 INGREDIENT GUACAMOLE
This versatile recipe is one of my favourites! It elevates those I-want-to-eat-something-bad-but-not-too-bad moments when all you want to do is munch on some tortilla crisps and is delicious to add to your everyday taco -or any other mexican-style- recipes. I’m talking about guacamole of course!
I use this recipe quite often and I keep changing the ingredients to get that perfect guacamole-taste. So all you need to do is try our different flavor combinations and you are good to go. Eat the guacamole with tortilla crisps and you have an easy and not too unhealthy snacks for those lazy evenings on the coach or add it to your taco’s to give your dinner that extra culinary feel.
I have made an easy-to-follow guide for you to make the basic recipe of my guacamole, but mind you it’s very easy, quick and above all: basic. Add different ingredients to make it spicier, sweeter or however you prefer your guacamole. Enjoy!
Extra needed: food processor or blender.
WHAT'S IN IT?
For the basic recipe I use
– 2 ripe avocado’s
– 2 small tomato’s
– 1 red union
– 1 tbs lime juice
– All the seasoning that you want
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
Start by cutting the two avocado’s in halves, remove the grain and use a spoon to peel the flesh out of the skin. Cut up the two tomatoes and the other ingredients you like, such as an onion or fresh herbs.
Place the ingredients in a food processor and add salt, pepper and additional herbs. Turn the food processor on and mix until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the guacamole out of the food processor and into a bowl and it’s finished! Enjoy!
